Calling All Dallas Tech Startups
March 24, 2011 by iCall Team Member
You may have read my February 18 blog post about moving our headquarters to Dallas, Texas. Since then, we've settled into our office, and we're happy to call this place home. With its rich history of innovation, we look forward to making our own mark on the Texas technology industry.
Not only do we plan to use our Dallas headquarters to develop the latest iCall software and build out a more intuitive central communications hub for you, but we are also pleased to open our office as a place for startups to kick off.
iCall got its start in 2005 with two friends and an idea to create an easier and cheaper method of communication. Six years later, we're making our vision a reality, while also helping others make theirs possible. My buddy, colleague and co-founder of iCall, Andy, and I realize how hard it can be to get a foot in the door. With that in mind, we will be opening our doors to entrepreneurs and technology start ups. Within the larger iCall office, we have created four office setups with five cubicles each. In addition, we will provide areas for meetings and conference calls, as well as a break room. We hope that by offering this space free of charge, our office will serve as an incubator for creativity, while also providing valuable resources and mentoring services. We strongly encourage growth and innovation in these tough economic times, and we welcome those who feel the same.
