Today is the day … iCall 7 Beta for the desktop has launched! You can now enjoy making free video calls, IMing and texting all of your friends, and calling everyone you know through your very own communications hub.
Whether you're a Mac lover, a PC loyalist or a Linux-based purist, sign up because iCall 7 Beta has a ton of cool features you're going to love, like:
- Free peer-to-peer HD video calling
- Free multi-protocol chat through iCall IM
- Free file and desktop sharing
- Free access numbers with voicemail
- Free texting to mobile
- Free superhero-grade security to keep your conversations safe
- Free and fully featured conference calling capabilities
- Free interactive, downloadable apps to use within the program
- Free phone calling without hidden charges or fees
- Free voicemail access
Did you notice something about each of the features listed above? All of them are free! We won't charge you to IM friends on Google Talk or whatever service they use, and it doesn't cost for you to share your screen with someone else. We let you text mobile phones for free and we don't tack on fees just because you're calling someone who isn't an iCall user. We don't even charge you to have an access number so people can call you.
It's been a productive 2011 for iCall. Our developers have put in long hours this year to get iCall 7 Beta to you, and we're not stopping now. Today is just the beginning, and know we will continue to enhance your iCall experience by adding more features and services for you to use and enjoy for years to come.
By the way, all of us here at iCall are also very happy to show off our new website redesign - it's still a work in progress, so expect more changes over the next several days. And in case you haven't noticed, we also have a new and improved blog layout, too. We hope you like it! We also have a Facebook fan page, so if you're an iCall fan, go to facebook.com/icall to "Like" us, and don't forget to follow us on Twitter! (twitter.com/icall)
