FreeSWITCH Training Bootcamp and ClueCon 2011

July 1, 2011 by Andy Muldowney, CTO & Founder

Last week, iCall hosted the June 2011 FreeSWITCH Training Bootcamp, taught by FreeSWITCH expert, Darren Schreiber, of 2600hz (http://www.2600hz.com). As many of our readers know, FreeSWITCH is a scalable, open source platform that routes and interconnects communication protocols using audio, video, text and any other form of media.

We founded iCall on a strong belief of open standards and interoperability between technologies. So it is important for us to contribute to ideals and organizations that support open source, net neutrality and consumer rights. We also try to remain involved in industry conferences, and even host various types of events, such as this training bootcamp.

I've included a couple of photos from the training, which covered all aspects of the FreeSWITCH program.

Coming up August 9th through 11th in Chicago is the open source telephony developer conference, ClueCon. iCall is a gold sponsor, and our CTO and co-founder, Andy Muldowney, is scheduled to speak the first morning of the event. Here is a link for more details http://www.cluecon.com/.

If any of our readers plan to attend, we hope to see you there!
